The Fine Arts Showcase - neue Single & neues Album
Das Musikjahr hat einen neuen Zwischenhöhepunkt erreicht - und zwar mit «Dance with yr shadow», der neuen Single der schwedischen Band The Fine Arts Showcase. Was für ein Song, grandios! Kitschig-schmachtig und wohlig-poppig, ich bin hin und weg. Das Lied ist Vorbote des neuen TFAS-Albums, das am 25. Mai erscheinen soll, und auf dem ausschließlich Songs der obskuren Lofi-Indieband The Rough Bunnies gecovert werden. Eine reichlich abseitige Idee, aber wenn alles so toll gelingt wie die erste Single, soll es mir Recht sein.

An album recorded by swedish band The Fine Arts Showcase has mysteriously disappeared.
This after the recordings had been mastered by none other than Norman Blake.
According to the band's singer, Gustaf Kjellwander, Norman has e-mailed him saying that he had sent the recordings by post to the cd manufacturing factory.
He also states that since this Norman has gone missing and can't be reached.
”My best guess though is that the recordings has been lost in the mail, but we don't know”.

Malmo based The Fine Arts Showcase gained minor success in Sweden with their debut album "Radiola". The new album is a tribute to swedish duo Rough Bunnies, hence named "The Fine Arts Showcase Sings Rough Bunnies".
